Getting started
What is Tutel AI?
Tutel AI is a practice platform for people who sell. You have live voice conversations with AI buyers, get scored on 8 sales skills after every call, and track how your professional competencies grow over time.
Who is it for?
Anyone who sells for a living, in any industry: individual reps, account managers, founders who sell, and sales leaders who coach a team. Tutel builds each buyer from your own profile, so the practice fits what you actually sell.
How is Tutel different from other AI sales tools?
What do I need to get started?
A computer with a microphone, a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox) and a quiet place to talk. Headphones help. A camera is optional; it only shows you a self-view during the call.
How long does setup take?
About five minutes. Sage, the in-app coach, helps you fill in your profile: what you sell, who you sell to and your typical deal. Then you can start your first call.
Practice calls
What is a practice call like?
You talk out loud with an AI buyer you can see and hear. The buyer responds in real time, asks questions and pushes back. Calls can run up to 30 minutes, and you end the call when you’re done or the conversation reaches a natural close.
Can I practice for a real meeting I have coming up?
Yes. Create a prep sheet: describe the deal and the buyer in your own words and Sage turns it into a practice buyer. The buyer gets the deal context but never sees your plan for the meeting.
How hard are the buyers?
You choose from four difficulty levels. Easy buyers are receptive; Apex calls involve several stakeholders and high stakes and often won’t close in one call. The buyer’s communication style, mood, urgency and authority change every session, so the same scenario never plays out the same way twice.
What kinds of scenarios can I practice?
Cold outreach, discovery and demos, objection handling, negotiation, executive meetings, partnerships, difficult conversations, and customer service and renewals.
Scores and feedback
What does Tutel score?
Every call is scored on 8 sales skills from 0 to 100: Discovery & Qualification, Active Listening, Value Articulation, Objection Handling, Negotiation, Closing & Commitment, Rapport Building and Adaptability. Scores fall into medal bands: Bronze from 60, Silver from 70, Gold from 80, Platinum from 90 and Diamond from 95.
Tutel also tracks 8 professional competencies on a 0 to 1000 scale: Communication, Emotional Intelligence, Problem-Solving, Persuasion & Influence, Executive Presence, Resilience, Coachability and Strategic Thinking. They are weighted for difficulty and placed into tiers (Developing, Competent, Proficient, Advanced, Master) after your first 10 calls.
What do I get after a call?
A post-call report with the one thing to work on next, what you did well, what to improve, a better line to try next time, and timestamps that jump to the moment in the transcript.
Does Tutel analyze my face, voice tone or body language?
No. Scores come from what was said in the conversation. Your camera, if you turn it on, only shows you a self-view; Tutel does not record or analyze video of you.
Why practice instead of more training?
Because practice is how skills stick. In a classic memory study, people who practiced recalling material remembered 56% of it a week later, versus 42% for people who re-read it. A review of 317 experiments found that practice spread out over time beats cramming. Tutel is built for short, regular practice sessions rather than one-time training.
Can I upload a recording of a real call?
Not yet. Scoring uploaded recordings is on our roadmap. Today, Tutel scores practice calls.
Teams
How do teams work?
An owner creates the team, chooses the number of seats and invites reps by email or invite code. Owners and managers see a team dashboard, can assign practice on specific skills with due dates, and can generate printable team reports.
Can a manager practice too?
Yes. Choose the player-coach role to practice with your team, or the managing-only role, which uses a free admin seat.
Can my reps see each other’s scores?
No. Reps see their own results. Owners and managers see results for their team.
Pricing and billing
How much does Tutel cost?
Tutel is free during the beta, with no credit card required. See pricing for what plans will cost afterward.
Will I be charged automatically when the beta ends?
Only if you’ve added a card. We’ll email you before the beta ends. Accounts without a card are paused, not charged.
Privacy and security
Who can see my practice calls?
You can. If you’re on a team, your team’s owner and managers can see your results. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it to advertise to you.
Which companies process my data?
We use a small set of providers to run Tutel: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (the AI that plays the buyer and writes feedback), ElevenLabs (voice and transcription), Simli (the buyer’s video face) and Resend (email). See our privacy policy for details.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete your account from your profile at any time. That deletes your profile, practice history, scores and any files you uploaded.
