About

AI shouldn’t replace your team. It should make them irreplaceable.

We believe the future of business isn’t about replacing people with AI. It’s about helping people get better with it. That’s why we built Tutel.

Our story

Tutel AI was born from an unlikely combination: bad corporate training software, a creative AI-generated Dungeons & Dragons theme song, and two sales professionals who refused to accept that AI’s only role was to replace people.

Brennen Tucker and Dennis Christensen met while working for a large tool manufacturer, bonding over shared interests and their frustration with the state of professional training. The spark that became Tutel came during a series of “AI-driven” training modules Brennen was required to complete. “It was just bad AI voiceovers reading scripts,” he recalls. “Nothing about it reflected the real conversations we actually have with customers. It felt like checking a compliance box, not building a skill.”

Around the same time, Dennis had been exploring AI’s creative side by writing and performing a custom intro song for their gaming group. The contrast was striking: one AI experience felt lifeless and mandatory, the other felt creative and engaging.

“That’s when it clicked. If AI could do something as nuanced as write a D&D theme song, why couldn’t it role-play a customer? Real practice scenarios are uncomfortable but crucial, and nobody was building AI for that.”

Brennen Tucker

Brennen brought the concept to Dennis: an AI that role-plays customers, letting sales professionals practice difficult conversations in a safe place. Dennis, who had sold in five industries and was completing his MBA in Business Analytics, saw the potential immediately, and they started building.

As they built, they realized they were solving something bigger than role-play. Training fades fast without practice; the forgetting curve first measured in the 1880s still holds up in modern replications. And people who practice recalling what they learned remember far more a week later than people who simply review it. Reps don’t need another course. They need reps.

Mark Cuban put the bet in one line: “In an AI world, what you do is far more important than what you prompt.” While others were automating the human element away, Brennen and Dennis were building a way to make it stronger.

“I’ve sold in five industries, and every one of them had a training program that missed the same thing: a way to measure whether anyone actually got better. Tutel is what I wish I’d had at every job. Giving people clear, measurable growth and helping them build careers they’re proud of: that’s what makes the work worth doing.”

Dennis Christensen

Today, both still work full-time in their own industries, living the challenges their customers face every day. They’re not just building software for sales professionals; they are sales professionals building the training tool they always wished existed.

Our mission

To prove that investing in people isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s the smartest business decision you can make. We’re building AI that makes people better, not obsolete.

Our vision

A world where every professional has access to great coaching, where skill development never stops, and where companies compete on the strength of their people, not the sophistication of their automation.

Meet the founders

Two sales professionals who believe your team is your competitive advantage.

Brennen Tucker

Co-founder

The visionary behind Tutel’s “aha moment,” Brennen brings years of frontline sales experience and a close understanding of what actually works in customer conversations, because he lives it every day. He believes success comes from how many people you serve and how well you serve them, a philosophy from The Go-Giver that drives every decision at Tutel. His mission: turn professional development from compliance checkboxes into real career growth.

Dennis Christensen

Co-founder

Dennis has spent his career on both sides of the problem Tutel solves. As a sales professional, he carried quota across five industries (pest control, credit repair, health insurance, power tools and building materials), watching company after company invest in training that didn’t transfer to real conversations. As a builder, he holds an MBA in Business Analytics and has designed and shipped sales and workflow tools, websites and a fitness app. Tutel is the coaching tool he wishes every one of those jobs had given him.

How we work

These guide every hire, every feature and every customer conversation.

People first, always

Every person has untapped potential, and our job is to help them unlock it. When we build, we ask: does this make someone more capable?

Human-first technology

We build AI that adds to human ability and never replaces it. Technology serves people, not the other way around.

Growth mindset

Everyone can improve with the right guidance and practice. Potential isn’t fixed; it’s built.

Build for lasting impact

We don’t chase quick wins. We design for skills that stick and habits that last, through regular practice rather than one-time training.

Evidence-based

We ground features in research on how people learn and remember, and we cite our sources.

Long-term partnership

We’re not just selling software; we’re invested in your people’s success. When you grow, we grow.

Prove the progress

Growth without evidence is just a feeling. Every call is scored on 8 sales skills and tracked across 8 professional competencies, so progress is something you can point to.

Measurable improvement

We show exactly what changed, call by call and month by month.

Coach, don’t lecture

Good coaching explains the why, points to the moment, and lets you try again. That’s how our feedback works.
